The World Bank Kenya Implementation Support Mission for the FLLoCA Program, that is being held from November 17 to December 5, 2025, successfully concluded its visit to Kisii County.
During their two-day engagement in the county, the mission team paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Kisii County, H.E. Hon. Simba Arati, who warmly welcomed them and expressed his appreciation for hosting the delegation. During this visit, the team was taken through the implementation of the first cycle of FLLoCA investments, assessing progress made and evaluating the effectiveness of actions taken to strengthen the screening and preparation for the second cycle of investments.
The mission is meant to strengthen collaboration between the National and County Governments, enhance local capacity for effective climate action, and offer valuable insights to improve overall program implementation, deepen partnerships aimed at advancing sustainable and climate-resilient development across Kisii County.
