Introduction

In July 2023, Members of County assembly, the County Executive Committee (CECM) member for Climate Change along with the Directorate in charge of Climate Change distributed water tanks to various learning institutions.

This initiative aims to promote climate change adaptation by ensuring water conservation, enhancing climate resilience, and educating students on sustainable water management practices.

Economic Benefit

Distributing water tanks to 45 learning institutions not only supports sustainable water management but also significantly reduces water costs, promotes resource efficiency, and fosters a self-reliant environment.

By investing in water storage solutions, we empower schools to manage their water supply independently, leading to long-term savings and contributing to the overall economic stability of the community

Citizen Benefit

Providing water tanks to 45 learning institutions ensures a reliable water supply, enhancing health and hygiene for students and staff.

This initiative not only improves educational environments but also benefits the surrounding communities by reducing the burden on local water resources. Citizens will experience increased water availability, lower health risks, and a stronger sense of community resilience, ultimately contributing to a better quality of life for all
